Lloret de Mar is the ideal destination for grooms who love their time in the sun. The town has 12 beaches to choose from. The main beach, Playa Lloret, stretches over 1.5km and tends to be the most popular. If you want a quieter vibe - like after a massive night out, try Playa Fenals or walk along the old battlements to coves like Cala d’en Trons where you can escape the masses.
Wanna do something different before you take the plunge into marriage? Challenge your mates to a high ropes course or go off be beaten track with a quad biking trek through the mountain trails.
For the lads looking to let their inner child out to play there’s a water park to beat the heat and then you can get all the guys in on a five-a-side football match, perfect for sweating out that alcohol from the night before. There’s no way your stag party will get bored over here.
After Dark
Lloret de Mar doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. There are a plethora of pubs, clubs, discos and late bars. Stag parties can start on the beers at sunset and continue throwing them back until 6am. If you’ve got the staying power, Lloret de Mar will be your best drinking buddy.
head for the area around Avenida Just Marles and the southern end of the promenade for the most lively and boisterous bars. If you want a laid back feel, the beach bars are worth a shout as well.
