Benalmadena boasts glorious Blue Flag beaches and a mix of traditional and modern Spanish life. Unlike many resorts and towns in Spain, Benalmadena really does offer both sides of the coin. The modern Costa Benalmadena is the touristy bit with high-rise hotels, apartments, bars, clubs and an impressive marina studded with swanky luxury yachts.

Meanwhile, the Benalmadena Pueblo is just a short walk from the marina and offers a much more authentic Spanish flavour. The old town will give you a taste of authentic Andalusian life with its whitewashed buildings, quaint winding streets, magnificent mountain views and tapas bars.
